Her sophomore and junior year, the Lady Cardinals won back to back Landmark Conference Championships and made two appearances in the NCAA Div. III tournament. In Dixon's senior year she was chosen to serve as a captain for the Lady Cardinals.
During her college career, Dixon was afforded the opportunity to work behind the scenes as an employee of the Raymond A. DuFour Athletic Center, an intern in the athletic department at George Washington University, as well as an administrative assistant and basketball trainer at Carolinas' Basketball Academy. Being fortunate enough to work with such great professionals and her overall passion for sports helped fuel her desire to pursue a career in the sport industry and obtain a Master's of Education in Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dixon believes that sports coupled with academics can help a person achieve great success.
